Description

The steel end cap designed for butt-welding according to EN 10253, ISO 3419 and ASME B 16.9, is used to close pipeline ends or branch outlets. It is available in elliptical (hemispherical/torispherical, depending on manufacturer execution) configurations to ensure even stress distribution, covering small–large DN/NPS sizes and standard pressure classes according to material and wall thickness.

Applications

Closure of process/transfer lines, inspection ends; temporary or permanent sealing of branches; hydro/pneumatic testing; isolation of equipment and installation segments (O&G onshore/offshore, petrochemical/refining, power and district-heating plants, industrial utilities and modular skids, HVAC/industrial water/fire systems, marine applications, industrial machinery).
