Description
The loose steel flange – compliant with EN 1092-1 Type 02, ISO 7005-1, and ASME B16.5. The loose (lap joint) flange is used together with a stub-end/welding neck collar; the flange itself is not welded to the pipe, allowing free rotation for easy bolt-hole alignment during assembly. It is suitable for small–large DN/NPS sizes and low–medium pressures, commonly preferred for lined piping systems or applications where separation between flange material and conveyed medium is required (e.g., carbon-steel flange + stainless-steel stub end).
Applications
Frequent-maintenance lines or systems requiring quick disassembly; PTFE/PP/HDPE-lined piping; onshore/offshore O&G service; petrochemical and refining units; district heating and industrial utilities; modular skid systems (pumping/dosing), instrumentation and measurement (pressure gauges, purge/drain connections); HVAC/industrial water/firefighting systems; marine and industrial equipment applications, including areas with difficult alignment or tight installation tolerances.
